Gee, Marie was done back when i wanted to be a newspaper cartoonist. Each version was done approximately one year apart, and all were rejected by the newspaper syndicates who distribute newspaper comics and other such features (see rejection letters linked below). I no longer want to be a newspaper cartoonist, for a variety of reasons. Gee, Marie saw print briefly in the Street News, Toronto’s newspaper of the homeless.
